In the summer of 2019, the community of Hector, Arkansas, was shaken by the violent death of one of its own. On June 3rd, 41-year-old Jeremy Wayne Davis, a man known for his skills as a masonry worker, was fatally shot at a residence in the quiet town. Davis, a member of the Chickamauga Cherokee Tribe, was born on June 16, 1978, in nearby Russellville.
