In the late hours of a Tuesday in Benton, Arkansas, a disturbance at a residence on Freeman Street prompted a call to the Benton Police Department. When officers arrived at the home on October 29, 2019, they discovered a tragic scene. Inside, they found the bodies of 26-year-old Mark Allen Talbert and his 23-year-old wife, Maegan Talbert. Both had sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
