In the winter of 1908, a brave Omaha detective's life was cut tragically short in the line of duty. Samuel S. Drummy, a 51-year-old Caucasian male, was known throughout the city for his shrewd and capable detective work. On February 15th, his career and life would come to a violent end during a confrontation in South Omaha.
