In the small town of Sutherland, Nebraska, the autumn of 1975 was shattered by a crime of unimaginable horror. On the evening of October 18th, six-year-old Deanna Lynn Kellie, a Caucasian female, was tragically killed in her home. This was not an isolated act of violence, but the culmination of a brutal rampage that claimed the lives of six members of the Kellie family. The person responsible for this horrific act was their neighbor, Erwin Charles Simants.
