On May 28, 1955, in Phoenix, Arizona, 23-year-old Marie Goodman Bartholomew was tragically murdered, along with her two young children, Rickie, aged 3, and Pamela, aged 2. The perpetrator was her husband, 28-year-old Lester Edward Bartholomew. The family was residing in a motel at 2133 East Monroe Street when the incident occurred.
