On November 28, 2024, 61-year-old Bernice Pritchard was found deceased in her apartment in Kennedale, Texas. She had been living there with her fiancé, 63-year-old Rickey Lynn Perry. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office determined that Pritchard died from multiple shotgun wounds, ruling her death a homicide. Perry's death was ruled a suicide from a shotgun wound to the head.
