Death by Force

On December 7, 2024, at approximately 12:30 a.m., 43-year-old Dustin Nelson was fatally shot while confronting burglary suspects at his residence on Champagne Circle in Tomball, Texas. According to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, an unknown number of suspects shot Nelson, who then sought help from a neighbor. A deputy arriving home observed Nelson with an apparent gunshot wound and called 911; however, Nelson succumbed to his injuries before paramedics arrived.
