On December 15, 2024, 52-year-old Jennifer L. (Ankrom) Meeker was fatally shot in a tragic incident at a residence on West Vine Street in Martins Ferry, Ohio. The shooting also claimed the life of 55-year-old Richard F. Haldeman and left Jennifer's ex-husband, 47-year-old Scott Meeker, critically injured with a gunshot wound to the face.
