On December 24, 2024, a tragic incident occurred in Beulah, Alabama, resulting in the deaths of 19-year-old Kayden Lynch and her 18-year-old stepsister, Madison Daly. The Lee County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of gunfire near Lee Road 2113 and US 29 North around 3:48 p.m. Upon arrival, deputies found both women unresponsive with apparent gunshot wounds; they were pronounced dead at the scene by Coroner Daniel Sexton at approximately 4:30 p.m.
