On January 22, 2023, at approximately 6:45 p.m., 20-year-old Brandon Lamar Caldwell was fatally shot at the Ivy Apartments located in the 4500 block of Lavender Lane in San Antonio, Texas. Caldwell had gone to the apartment complex to visit his ex-girlfriend, where he became involved in a minor physical altercation with her current boyfriend.
