In the early hours of February 25, 2023, a tragic incident unfolded at a Whataburger restaurant located at 2321 S. Jefferson Avenue in Mount Pleasant, Texas. At approximately 2:18 a.m., the Mount Pleasant Police Department responded to reports of a shooting at the establishment.
