Death by Force

On April 7, 2023, in Spring, Texas, 26-year-old Patrick Smith was fatally shot during a domestic altercation with his wife, Merrilyn Smith. The Harris County Sheriff's Office reported that the couple engaged in a struggle over a firearm at their residence on White Springs Court, resulting in the gun discharging and striking Patrick. He was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
