On May 1, 2023, 35-year-old Aaron Martinez was fatally shot while seated in his pickup truck near his residence on Neal Road in Forney, Texas. The Kaufman County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of a shooting around 12:20 p.m. and discovered Martinez deceased with multiple gunshot wounds inside his vehicle.
