On May 29, 2023, 15-year-old Xavier Hullaby was fatally shot at the Arwen Apartments in Fort Worth, Texas. The incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. as Hullaby was returning home from a boxing session, a hobby he had recently taken up. He was shot multiple times in the breezeway near his apartment and was pronounced dead at the scene.
