Death by Force

On July 21, 2023, at approximately 9:00 p.m., Eastland County Sheriff's Deputy David Walter Bosecker, aged 57, responded to a domestic disturbance call at a residence on Highway 183 between Cisco and Rising Star, Texas. Upon arrival, Deputy Bosecker was immediately met with gunfire from the suspect, resulting in fatal injuries.
