Clarence Gene Colquitt Jr., a 32-year-old man from Corrigan, Texas, tragically lost his life on July 22, 2020. Colquitt was shot and killed by Wesley Lavoy Wooten, a 25-year-old resident of Corrigan. The incident occurred in the 300 block of Ben Franklin Street while Colquitt was reportedly doing laundry. According to anonymous sources, Colquitt was shot from behind.
