Clarence Gene Colquitt Jr., a 32-year-old man from Corrigan, Texas, tragically lost his life on July 22, 2020. Colquitt was shot and killed by Wesley Lavoy Wooten, a 25-year-old resident of Corrigan. The incident occurred in the 300 block of Ben Franklin Street while Colquitt was reportedly doing laundry. According to anonymous sources, Colquitt was shot from behind. The Corrigan Police Department, Polk County Sheriff's Office, and the Texas Department of Public Safety were involved in the inves ...
