On July 30, 2023, at approximately 2:51 p.m., 33-year-old Kayren LaQuita Venters was found with a gunshot wound to the head inside a residence on the 2500 block of Red Fern Drive in Harker Heights, Texas. Emergency responders airlifted her to Baylor Scott & White Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
