On August 13, 2023, Raul Gonzalez, aged 52, was fatally shot in the facial area on Glenwood Road near San Jose Road in the Green Valley Farms area east of San Benito, Texas.
Pedro Rodriguez, the alleged shooter, claimed he acted in self-defense and stated he did not know Gonzalez.
