On the afternoon of September 30, 2023, Alfonso Perez, a 42-year-old Hispanic male, was fatally shot while working in the backyard of a residence on House Street in Fort Worth, Texas. Perez, a self-employed construction worker and handyman, was described by his family as a loving father of three who was always smiling and dedicated to improving his life for his children.
