On October 12, 2023, at approximately 12:30 p.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting incident in the 1000 block of Cheyenne Road in the Pleasant Grove area. Upon arrival, officers found 21-year-old Desmond Valentine suffering from critical gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to a local hospital for treatment.
