On November 15, 2023, 62-year-old Dung Doan was fatally shot near the Walmart at 8555 Preston Road in Frisco, Texas. Doan, who had immigrated from Vietnam in 2022, was a husband and father of two. He frequently walked to the nearby Walmart from his residence for exercise and errands.
