On November 22, 2023, 31-year-old Jesus Adrian Hernandez was fatally shot in Fort Worth, Texas. The incident occurred in the morning near North Harding and Northeast 36th Streets, where Hernandez was found inside a stolen vehicle. He sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to John Peter Smith Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at approximately 1:20 p.m. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office ruled his death a homicide.
Following an investigation, Fort Worth police identified 20-year-old Joshua Obiedo as a suspect in the shooting. Authorities allege that Obiedo, a passenger in the stolen car along with Hernandez and another individual, shot Hernandez while inside the vehicle. On April 19, 2024, Obiedo was arrested and charged with murder. He was booked into the Tarrant County Jail with bond set at $200,000. As of now, it remains unclear whether Obiedo has legal representation.
