On February 29, 2024, 24-year-old Logan Evan Perkins was found fatally shot in his apartment in Sansom Park, Texas. Officers responded to a call around 4:30 p.m. reporting an unresponsive man bleeding inside an apartment in the 3100 block of La Junta Street.
