Gene Gordon, a 78-year-old resident of Chicago, was tragically shot and killed on June 15, 2017, in the West Englewood neighborhood. The incident occurred while Gordon was walking near 68th Street and Hermitage Avenue in the late afternoon. He was struck during a drive-by shooting when an individual from a passing vehicle opened fire.
