On the evening of April 28, 2024, at approximately 8:37 p.m., Austin Police Department (APD) officers responded to reports of gunfire at The Villas Del Sol apartments, located in the 1700 block of Rutland Drive in North Austin. Upon arrival, they discovered 39-year-old Lowen Alberto Ordonez Lobo suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
