On May 3, 2024, Dominique Anderson, a 33-year-old father of two from Pearland, Texas, was fatally shot while driving eastbound on Shadow Creek Parkway near State Highway 288. Surveillance footage revealed that Anderson's vehicle was alongside a gold Cadillac sedan when both cars stopped under the highway.
