On June 14, 2024, 25-year-old Christopher Lee Escobar tragically lost his life in a shooting incident near Linden, Texas. Escobar was traveling southbound on U.S. Highway 59 in a white Ford pickup truck with three other individuals. According to the Cass County Sheriff's Office, a dispute arose inside the vehicle when one occupant brandished a firearm, leading to a struggle over the weapon and the discharge of multiple shots.
