On August 1, 2024, at approximately 3 a.m., 18-year-old Xavier Jason Skelton was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the 200 block of Carranza Street on San Antonio's Southwest Side. Family members reported that an unidentified vehicle had pulled up in front of their residence, and Skelton was pushed out before the vehicle sped away. Emergency responders transported him to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
