Death by Force

On August 5, 2024, 17-year-old Erick Alejandro Marin was fatally shot during a confrontation in a drainage area behind homes in the 800 block of Shadow Creek Boulevard in Buda, Texas. The Hays County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of gunfire around 5:15 p.m. and discovered Marin deceased at the scene from a gunshot wound.
