On August 17, 2024, at approximately 2:50 a.m., Jacksonville Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 400 block of Gillespie Avenue in Jacksonville, Texas. Upon arrival, they discovered 29-year-old Clara Deane Wilson deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.
The investigation swiftly led to the arrest of two juveniles, whose identities have been withheld due to their age. Both were charged with murder in connection to Wilson's death.
