On August 19, 2024, 29-year-old DaVon Lamar Collins tragically lost his life in a shooting incident in Fort Worth, Texas. The event occurred in the early hours at a residence in the 2400 block of Ross Avenue, where officers responded to reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, they discovered two individuals with fatal gunshot wounds. Preliminary investigations indicated that a verbal altercation had escalated, leading the suspect to produce a handgun and fire multiple rounds, striking both victims.
