On the evening of September 4, 2024, Dallas police responded to a shooting call at approximately 10:10 PM in the 3500 block of Meadow Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered 54-year-old Simona Ulanda Walker unresponsive inside a residence, suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite prompt medical attention from Dallas Fire-Rescue, Walker was pronounced dead at the scene.
