On January 16, 2023, at approximately 3:30 a.m., a tragic mass shooting occurred in Goshen, California, resulting in the deaths of six family members, including 16-year-old Alissa Parraz and her 10-month-old son, Nycholas. The victims were identified as 72-year-old Rosa Parraz, 52-year-old Eladio Parraz Jr., 50-year-old Jennifer Analla, 19-year-old Marcos Parraz, 16-year-old Alissa Parraz, and her infant son, Nycholas.
The assailants executed the victims in a manner described by authorities as "cartel-style." Surveillance footage revealed that Alissa Parraz attempted to flee the residence with her son, placing him over a fence before attempting to scale it herself. Tragically, both were shot and killed outside the home.
In the weeks following the incident, law enforcement launched "Operation Nightmare," leading to the arrests of two suspects: 35-year-old Angel Uriarte and 25-year-old Noah Beard. Both individuals are known gang members and have been charged with six counts of murder. A week prior to the shooting, a search warrant executed at the Parraz residence resulted in the discovery of drugs, ammunition, and weapons, leading to the arrest and subsequent release on bail of a family member.
