On the evening of January 23, 2023, at approximately 9:19 p.m., Hanford Police Department officers responded to reports of gunshots near Fernot Way and Connie Drive in Hanford, California. Witnesses reported hearing three to four shots fired. Upon arrival, officers discovered 22-year-old Miguel "Miggy" Frausto Perez seated in a vehicle, suffering from gunshot wounds. Tragically, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
