On January 30, 2023, George Ramirez, aged 66, was found shot to death alongside his wife, Sonia Ramirez, 68, and their son, David Ramirez, 43, in their home on Ramona Place in Ontario, California. The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department launched an investigation into the triple homicide, identifying the victims' grandson and nephew, 29-year-old Pete Anthony Renteria, as the primary suspect.
