On February 9, 2023, at approximately 1:30 a.m., 24-year-old Brody Witherell was fatally shot while sleeping on a couch inside a residence in central Fresno, California. The Fresno Police Department responded to a ShotSpotter activation indicating 18 rounds fired near Clark and Grant avenues.
