On February 26, 2023, at approximately 6:22 p.m., deputies from the Lake Elsinore Station responded to reports of a shooting at a residence in the 38000 block of Via Majorca in La Cresta, an unincorporated community near Murrieta, California. Upon arrival, they discovered 35-year-old Andrew Cisneros suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite life-saving efforts by deputies and paramedics, Cisneros was pronounced dead at the scene.
