On the evening of May 25, 2023, 28-year-old Humberto Padilla was fatally shot in Bellflower, California. Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 8:10 p.m. in the 9800 block of Alondra Boulevard, near Bellflower Boulevard. Upon arrival, they discovered Padilla on the sidewalk, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
