On June 10, 2023, at approximately 3:00 a.m., 43-year-old Kameka Lynette Adams was fatally shot near the intersection of 65th Street and Harvard Boulevard in South Los Angeles. The Los Angeles County coroner's office determined the cause of death to be multiple gunshot wounds, classifying the incident as a homicide.
