On June 22, 2023, in unincorporated El Cajon, California, 39-year-old Denise Helen Orpinela was found deceased alongside her husband, 42-year-old Eric Orpinela, in their residence on East Bradley Avenue. The discovery was made by their 14-year-old daughter, who, along with her siblings aged 13 and 9, were present in the home at the time. The children were unharmed and are currently under care.
