On July 30, 2023, at approximately 8:39 p.m., Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department deputies responded to reports of gunshots in the 12700 block of Pioneer Boulevard in Norwalk, California. Upon arrival, they discovered 26-year-old Jobani Meza inside a vehicle, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
