Ruben Edward Gomez, a 20-year-old resident of Norwalk, California, tragically lost his life on July 4, 2016. According to reports, Gomez was standing with four friends on the 13000 block of Elmcroft Avenue when a dark-colored SUV approached them around 11:29 p.m. The occupants of the vehicle shouted something before opening fire on the group.
