On August 9, 2023, in Danville, California, authorities conducted a welfare check at a residence on Larkwood Circle around 5:20 p.m. Inside, they discovered the bodies of 44-year-old Nemanja Isailović and his two daughters, 13-year-old Evelyn and 11-year-old Amelia, all deceased from gunshot wounds. The welfare check was initiated by Isailović's ex-wife after she was unable to contact the family.
