On August 26, 2023, at approximately 11:30 p.m., 22-year-old Samuel Villaseñor was fatally shot in the 1900 block of Sierra Leone Avenue in Rowland Heights, California. Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department responded to multiple reports of gunfire and discovered two male victims with gunshot wounds. Villaseñor was pronounced dead at the scene, while the second victim was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
