On February 8, 2024, at approximately 12:07 a.m., 24-year-old Luis Angel Gaona was fatally shot in Panorama City, California. The incident occurred in the 9400 block of Van Nuys Boulevard, where Gaona was walking when a white Cadillac sedan approached. Two individuals exited the vehicle and opened fire, striking Gaona multiple times before fleeing the scene. Emergency responders transported him to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
