On February 17, 2024, 18-year-old James Brown was tragically killed by gun violence in Sacramento, California. The incident also claimed the life of 45-year-old Jennifer Evans Brown. Both individuals were found with fatal gunshot wounds at a residence on Shadow Creek Drive.
