On February 20, 2024, at approximately 1:28 p.m., 19-year-old Jorge Ramos was fatally shot in North Hollywood, California. Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting at the intersection of Vanowen Street and Ethel Avenue, where they discovered Ramos lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to the head.
