On April 5, 2024, at approximately 10:54 PM, Clearlake Police Department officers responded to reports of multiple gunshots in the 15300 block of Pacific Avenue. While en route, they were informed that a female gunshot victim was being transported to Adventist Health Clear Lake Hospital by an involved party. The victim, identified as 45-year-old Elizabeth Williams of Clearlake, succumbed to her injuries despite life-saving efforts by hospital staff.
