Death by Force

On April 7, 2024, at approximately 1:15 a.m., deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Cerritos station responded to a report of a vehicle collision in the 13300 block of Artesia Boulevard in Cerritos, California. Upon arrival, they discovered a vehicle with significant front-end damage and a man inside suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper body. The victim, identified as 42-year-old Enrique Vega, was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
