Death by Force

On April 16, 2024, 35-year-old Ashley Bird was tragically killed in her Spring Valley, California, home. At approximately 10:24 a.m., while engaged in a work-related Zoom call, she reportedly heard someone attempting to break into her residence. Informing her colleague of the disturbance, she left to investigate but did not return. Concerned, her co-worker contacted Ashley's family, who then alerted the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.
